The saints of old went to some fantastic places like Nineveh, Damascus and Antioch and experienced some exciting things. God wants us to experience those similar adventures by faith.
Jesus told the first set to teach others to teach others (Matt. 28:20). The Commission is an on-going experience of faith. It’s an adventure with eternal rewards.
